CIS 145 was actually not my first time using HTML. I first began learning HTML and CSS in my middle school's computer classes as early as sixth grade! Although some of my HTML knowledge was lost over the years, my previous experience enabled me to very comfortably and quickly relearn the basics in CIS 145.
HTML Help | Although this site's design is very crude, it contains a ton of information on HTML tags, HTML entities, and CSS. It also has a helpful FAQ section! |
W3 Schools | This site was my go-to whenever I needed help learning about HTML tags during CIS 145. It contains code snippets that illustrate how certain tags can be used. |
MDN Web Docs | I discovered this site from Mozilla late into my CIS 145 class, but it still proves useful! It is similar to the W3 Schools site, but the documentation pages also have interactable HTML Demos. |
